2009 Goals and Objectives

1. Implement recommendation of Moore-Irwin Task Force.
2. Evaluate results of Facilities Expansion Study. Select final design and discuss financing.
3. Continue program of building trails and sidewalks.
4. Investigate and analyze the requests for service in order to better serve the community.
5. Study parking safety problems within our neighborhoods.
6. Encourage planting of 1000 trees within the Township through its resources and volunteer activities of citizens.
7. Implement a recruiting/retention benefit program for Fire & Rescue volunteers.
8. Establish committee for 300th anniversary.
9. Continue to research and implement environmental sustainability in all township functions and educate the public in this area.
10. Adopt and implement an entry Physicals Program for New Volunteer Firefighter.

1. Assist with implementation of e-Government initiatives with the IT Dept:
   a.  electronic payments.
   b.  form-fillable documents.
2. Continue to enhance relationships with local media and community groups.
3. Implement 24/7 web streaming of UMGA-TV.
4. Enhance the services provided by the website with departmental input, including redesign to facilitate citizen use.
