Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program (MIPP)/ MS4/ Stormwater Management
Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program (MIPP)
Treating our Community with Respect
Program Resources:

MIPP is in charge of locating and identifying the industrial users in the township that use the sanitary sewer system to dispose of process wastewater.  The Township samples and inspects these facilities to monitor and determine compliance with its Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit.

MIPP also examines self-monitoring reports and other notifications submitted by industrial users.  Provides an annual report to the EPA which requires public notification of industrial users that have significantly violated applicable pretreatment standards and requirements.  Develop and put in force local limits to control the discharge of pollutants by industrial users into treatment plants, and effectively enforce all pretreatment standards and requirements.

Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) / Stormwater

Program Resources:

Help keep our waterways and drinking supplies clean.  Be aware of common pollutants and their impacts.  Common pollutants consist of herbicides, pet waste, automotive fluids, grass clippings and other debris that enter the stormwater system and ultimately end up in our waterways.  Please practice good household habits for the health of our environment.
