HOLIDAY SCHEDULE - UPPER MERION COMMUNITY CENTER

As the holidays are around the corner, please be aware of the following changes to the Community Center schedule:

-Wednesday, 11/23 - closing at noon

-Thursday, 11/24 - closed

-Saturday, 12/24 - closing at noon

-Sunday, 12/25 - closed

-Saturday, 12/31 - closing at noon

-Sunday, 1/1 - closed

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Balance Fusion: Safely put your balance to the test! Increase joint stability, strengthen your core, and prevent falls.

 

Body Shop: Low-impact total body strength training designed to let you work at your own pace, focusing on form for max results.

 

Bootcamp: Classic calisthenics mixed with bodyweight strength exercises designed to develop speed, agility, and more.

 

Cardio Blast: Nothing but sweat-inducing moves to give you the most burn for your minute. Keep your heart rate high; get sweaty!

 

Core Zone: Tone and define your midsection and work on injury prevention by strengthening your abs, obliques and lower back.

 

Dance+Define: Choreography is taught and repeated to maximize the burn. Dynamic tension will tone, define and shape your body.

 

Dance Party: Redefine fun with new dance moves and trendy music! Open to all pass holders ages 10 and older!

 

EXpress Series: Target a different part of your body each day with circuit training around our Octagon in the fitness center.

 

Gentle Yoga: Relax, stretch and strengthen the body. Build awareness of the breath and the body while increasing flexibility.

 

HIIT: High intensity interval training will leave you strong and sweaty! Work hard, work fast and get results!

 

INSANITY: Based on MAX training principles: high intensity bursts and short breaks. Push yourself to a new level for fast results.

 

Pure Strength: Build strength, add definition, increase bone density, and decrease body fat by increasing your lean muscle.

 

Rise and Yoga: Stretch your body, awaken your mind, and fuel your spirit to start your day energized and ready to move with ease.

 

Spinning: Pedal your way to excellent cardiovascular conditioning with a well-trained, certified Spinning instructor.

 

Sunshine Yoga : Enjoy an align-and-flow class designed to wake you up and get you going and flowing into the rest of your day.

 

Total Body: Incorporate strength and cardio in one total body workout. You will strengthen your muscles and heart at the same time!

 

Vinyasa Yoga: Flow between poses, challenging your endurance, flexibility and strength. Previous yoga experience is suggested.

 

Yin Yoga: Stretch your body and mind, hold poses longer/focus on deepening the breath.

Hours:  Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Please Note: There is a Service/Convenience Fee assessed for all credit card transactions when using Discover, MasterCard, Visa or American Express (2.45%) 

UMPR PROGRAM REFUND POLICY

If insufficient enrollment causes a class to be cancelled, notification will be given and full tuition refunded, or a credit will be given for future use. (NOTE: The Upper Merion Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel, postpone, combine classes, or change instructors.)

Refunds will only be issued by township check within 30-60 days and are subject to township payment schedule and a $10 processing fee.

-Classes, Lessons and Programs: refunds must be made prior to the start of the second class. There are no make-ups, pro-rating or refunds for missed classes

-One or two-day events: One-week notice of cancellation is required for full refund

-Camps (ADC, ADC2, Camp Beechtree, and Consortium for the Arts): NO Refunds will be given after the Start of Camp

-Camp trip cancellations: No refund will be given

-Excursions or Outings: Refunds must be requested 7 days in advance of trip date

-Discount Ticket purchases are non-refundable

-Purchases of one-day guest passes are non-refundable

UMPR Community Center Passholder Refund

-No refunds will be given for Annual and 3-month Community Center memberships.

-Passholders who have a monthly membership payment will need to request a refund 30 days prior to their cancellation.

-Passholders who cancel their membership and who have received a discount as a result of their membership will be assessed the difference in program fees, and that difference will be charged and reflected in the refunded amount.
