Abandoned Vehicles
The Upper Merion Township Police Department is committed to processing and removing or causing to be removed any abandoned vehicle on the highways in Upper Merion Township. 

Alarm Applications
Chapter 63 of the Alarm Device Code of Upper Merion Township requires a valid permit be issued before an automatic protection device is installed. The code also requires the registration or re-registration of an alarm either by a new owner / tenant or by a business in the event of a change in trade name. The Alarm Application for Business or Residence can be found on the township website.

Burglary Report Forms
Victim's of a Burglary can report stolen property for attachment to the original Police Report. Burglary Property List and Continuation Form.

Lock for Life Program
Lock for Life is a program available through the Upper Merion Township Police Department. It is intended to provide Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel access to your residence in the event of an emergency where you are unable to open the door.

Report Request Form
Accident Reports may be released to any person involved in the accident, their insurance company or attorney. Incident Reports are subject to approval. A Report Request Form can be filled out and printed, then mailed to Police Records at the address listed on the form.

This form is not to be used for "Right to Know" request.

Residential Parking Permit
The Upper Merion Township Police Department has established a procedure by which local residents may establish restricted residential parking areas.

Special Needs Registry Form
Special Needs Registry allows residents with access and functional needs and their families; the opportunity to voluntarily provide information to emergency response agencies, so emergency responders can better plan to serve them in an emergency. The information collected here is confidential and will not be available to the public. The information will be held securely and only used for emergency response.

Traffic Management Form
In the interest of public safety, the Upper Merion Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit would like to hear your traffic related problems or concerns. Take a few minutes to fill out this form, you can drop it off at the Police desk, mail it to the attention of the Traffic Unit, or you can e-mail the form directly to the Traffic Unit.

Trash Dumpster Permit
A permit is required to place a trash dumpster on a roadway in Upper Merion Township.


Vendor's Permit
Chapter 119 of the Township Code requires all persons who intend to solicit, hawk, or peddle foods, goods, or other merchandise, or to perform services must obtain a Vendor’s Permit.
