A comprehensive plan is two things. It is a document that will provide an officially adopted framework for managing continued growth, while preserving existing assets. It will determine how we update the zoning code, apply for funding, and prioritize investments over the next two decades. But, it is also a process that will allow the community, residents, staff, and elected officials alike, to engage in questions of land use and development in a way that is aspirational, organized, and actionable; to project our residents’ collective vision for the future of Upper Merion on the landscape of the township.
Please use this site to get informed, stay engaged, and keep up to date on the comprehensive planning process. We will post information about upcoming events and outreach opportunities as well as any new data, analysis, and information that we are able to generate. In the mean time, we also welcome any feedback you may have.
