Upper Merion Township Library and GlaxoSmithKline present

July 7 - 10, 2008.
Registration: May 1 - 31, 2008
The
GlaxoSmithKline Science in the Summer program is a free science education
program that helps elementary school children in the greater Philadelphia
area "grow into science." Comprised of four 45-minute classes
given over the course of a week held in the library, the program gets
kids excited about studying science with hands-on experiments.
The course is taught by a certified teacher to groups of 16 students in
two age groups: children who have completed Grades 1 or 2 (Level I) and
for children who have completed Grades 3, 4, or 5 (Level II).
Why do some kids have brown eyes & others blue?
Why are no two fingerprints alike?
What is DNA & what does it look like?
Find out during this exciting 4 day science course this
summer!
