Ask A Librarian is an adult and young adult e-mail reference service designed for specific questions with brief and factual answers.

Email your questions to our adult reference staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will email your reply within 48 hours of our receiving your question (sorry, not real time!). Questions submitted on Friday, Saturday, or before a holiday may take a little longer. If a faster response is needed, you may want to use our phone service during library hours.
