Programs

A number of programs recur annually while special programs are scheduled periodically throughout the year

a. Pageturners - The library's summer reading program for adults and young adults offers a wide variety of attractive prizes to those who take part in the program.

b. One Book One Community - A program which encourages all of Upper Merion to read the same book at the same time and then participate in a discussion of the book at the library.

c. Online Book Club - For all those who want the hottest new books but can't find the time to come to the library, this is the answer!

d. Book Chat - A half-hour author interview series hosted by Karl Helicher, Library Director.

e. Book Discussion Series - Twice annually, spring and fall, the library hosts a series of book discussions related to a particular theme.

f. Black History - Each February, in celebration of Black History Month, the local Friends of Black History present a day long event featuring music, crafts, food, and vendors.
