On May 6, Lafayette Ambulance & Rescue Squad dissolved and the township assumed the responsibility of providing emergency medical services to the residents and visitors in the township. This service enhancement is being conducted through the Fire & EMS Division of the township’s Public Safety Department.
As part of the transition, the township will be establishing a new ambulance subscription service system effective on July 1, 2019. This subscription will be effective July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020.
During this transition period, all 2018 Lafayette Ambulance subscriptions, also known as Lafayette Ambulance’s Fund Drive, will be honored by the township until the new subscription period begins. If you made a payment anytime in 2018, it will be honored through June 30, 2019.
