Spring has arrived! Flowers are blooming, the days are longer, and the weather is warmer. In order to make the most of the season, we’ve put together a list of our favorite things to do in Upper Merion.
Visit the Upper Merion Farmers Market
Stop by the Upper Merion Farmers Market to pick up some fresh produce and other tasty treats! Seasonal, locally grown ingredients – like cherries, mint, rhubarb, and mushrooms – will be perfect for your next smoothie or salad. Don’t know how to use the ingredients? The farmers and vendors will be happy to give you some yummy suggestions. Come out to the opening day and 9th birthday celebration of the market! Bring a non-perishable food donation and you’ll receive a FREE market tote bag and a raffle ticket for a chance to win $50 in market money!
See the colorful trees throughout Valley Forge Park
Valley Forge Park is home to many beautiful, colorful trees, including Dogwoods and Redbuds. Take a stroll through the park to see over 1,200 acres of forest. Don’t forget your camera!
Catch a free concert
During the summer, Upper Merion Township hosts weekly concerts at Township Building Park. Join us at Concerts Under the Stars to see phenomenal local musicians. Don’t miss our special July 4th event at Heuser Park, where you’ll enjoy a carnival, food, drinks, fireworks, and live music! Bonus: there are several other live music events throughout the township, including King of Prussia Town Center’s Live @ Town Center series and King of Prussia District’s Rock Your Lunch and Food Truck Tuesday series.
Spend a day at Nor-View Farm
Bring the family to Nor-View Farm for a day full of seasonal fun. Start at the petting zoo to feed the farm animals, and then head to the nursery to pick up your garden essentials. Don’t forget to stop at Petrucci’s Ice Cream before you leave!

Whether you want to cool off and relax, get some exercise, or have fun with friends, there’s no better way to enjoy a warm summer day than jumping in the Township Pool! It is open to residents as well as non-residents of Upper Merion, from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Memberships may be purchased online, or by visiting the Upper Merion Community Center.
