Updated 6/26/2020
On Friday, June 26, Montgomery County moved in to the green phase of Governor Wolf’s plan to reopen Pennsylvania. The green phase will ease most restrictions and allow the reopening of businesses, such as gyms, and other indoor recreation centers, hair and nail salons, as well as limitations around large gatherings.
Upper Merion Township continues the following mitigation measures and changes in operations.
Upper Merion Township Administration
The Township Building is closed to the public, with the exception of the police lobby, sewer payment drop box, and drive-up Library drop box. Township Administration is operating with adjusted staffing and hours. The most timely and efficient way to reach staff for a non-emergency issue is with the MyUMT portal – your questions and concerns reach the appropriate person or department 24 hours a day. Please consider using this if appropriate. You can access the portal on our website from your computer or smartphone: https://uppermerionpa.qscend.com/311
Please be aware that all visitors to the Township Building must wear a mask or protective face covering unless medically unable to do so, and maintain a 6 foot social distance from others.
All room reservations are cancelled through the end of June, with the exception of the Transportation Authority and Utility Authority, which may be required to meet for bill payments, and but many meetings will be held virtually. Please check the calendar for updated cancellation notices, as well as virtual meeting availability and access.
