Spring is here, and with it comes the start of Upper Merion Township’s Yard Waste Collection program! Running from April through October each year, this service helps residents keep their yards clean and free from excess debris while maintaining the community’s beauty. Whether you’re cleaning up after a storm, trimming trees, or simply tidying up for the season, the Yard Waste Collection program makes it easy for you to dispose of your yard waste.
Program Details:
The Yard Waste Collection program begins each year in early April, with the first collection scheduled for Friday, April 7. Crews will continue picking up yard waste every Friday throughout the season, with the last collection taking place on Friday, October 31.
Please note, the pickup schedule is subject to change depending on workload and weather conditions. So, while crews aim to follow the schedule, some flexibility may be required.
How to Schedule Your Pick-Up:
To participate in the program, residents must schedule their yard waste collection through the Township’s Request for Service feature. Simply submit a request, and our Public Works team will arrange for your yard waste to be picked up.
It’s important to remember: If you do not make an appointment, your yard waste will not be picked up. So, be sure to schedule early!
