Regulatory Sign & Street Sign Information
Upper Merion Township’s Traffic Signal Division is responsible for maintaining over 7,000 street signs throughout the township. Our scope of responsibility is limited as we only repair or replace existing signs on local and state roads. If you see any one of these signs fading, knocked down, etc., please submit a request by clicking the icon or contact us at 610-265-2606.
The department can not install new signs unless an engineering study has been performed and prior approval is received by PennDOT for all state roads, or by Upper Merion Traffic Safety Board for local roads. Upper Merion is not responsible for signs in private housing developments, apartment complexes and retail, commercial or industrial properties.
