Consortium invites you to expand your craft, express yourself, your talents, and your creativity in a diverse and inclusive environment! This year’s play is the “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”
Consortium is open to all students entering grades 3-12. This summer’s program will take place at the Upper Merion Area High School. All participants will need to provide their own transportation. Please send your child with a snack and water bottle. Snacks will not be available for purchase.
Consortium will take place June 24 to August 2, Monday-Friday from 8:15AM-12:30PM, or for extended day 8:15AM-3PM. No camp Wednesday July 4.
Consortium provides opportunities for students to have a hand in contributing to our mainstage musical! Each student will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the production process, as we prepare to perform our theater production.
Curriculum choices include Main Stage Musical Theater, Theater Development, Art, Creative Writing, Band, Orchestra, and Sculpture. Please note your top three choices during registration.
For Main Stage Musical Theater, 50 students entering grades 7-12 will be chosen. For Theater Development, 20 students entering grades 5-6 will be accepted. Students interested in Main Stage Musical Theater are encouraged to register early as spots will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
*New for 2019*: We are offering an extended day option in which students will be able to work with other camp staff and learn the ins and outs of different Consortium classes that they may not get into during the half day option. Each week from 12:30PM-3:00PM, students will work with Consortium staff to learn something new and expand their horizons. Students will get a “master class” on a different Consortium topic including: band and orchestra, musical theater, etc. This extended day option requires no prior experience and is open to all Consortium goers!
